We are thrilled to announce that on 5 December beauty and personal care brand The Body Shop has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Tbilisi - the capital city of Georgia. The store is located on the central street of Tbilisi - on the Rustaveli avenue #20.
Founded in 1976 in Brighton, England, by Dame Anita Roddick, The Body Shop is a global beauty brand and a certified B Corp. The Body Shop seeks to make positive change in the world by offering high-quality, naturally-inspired skincare, body care, hair care, and make-up produced ethically and sustainably. Having pioneered the philosophy that business can be a force for good, this ethos is still the brand's driving force. The Body Shop provides its customers with ethically produced, high-quality, environmentally friendly products. It manages more than 3,000 stores, and Georgia became the 73rd country for The Body Shop.
Store features include a shower gel refill station where consumers can now purchase refillable 250ml aluminum bottles and fill them with shower gel favorites, as part of The Body Shop's new refill program.
The Body Shop is also available for customers in shop-in-shops of the GPC and Pharmadepot pharmacies and it already has its 1st B&M store in the capital city. Gepha plans to launch new stand-alone stores within the next 3 years.
